They were always there to answer any questions we had and continually provided updates throughout the purchasing process. Matt Rheel and his team are amazing. Even our realtor commented on how professional and "easy to work with" Veterans United is. I would recommend VU to anyone buying property. 10 out of 10 service!
My wife and I would like to convey (we learned that word from our real estate dealings, lol) our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of the Veteran's United Team!!!Our journey began with Smith Gaddy on May 23rd. This being our first home ever (yes, at our age...), we did not know what to do or expect. We were guided by you all every step of the way. Our concierge (Casie) got us connected and on track for this process. She also hooked us up with our realtor. Tyler (our loan officer) got involved immediately and worked on our preapproval. Every step was detailed and explained in ways we could understand. The patience, understanding, and commitment was/is so amazing. Cara kept us on track for the underwriter and Jimmy kept the ball rolling in the same efficient manner when Cara was not available. Alicia got our Homeowners insurance in line and patiently kept making necessary changes as we needed them. We successfully closed on July 25th, 2022!Tyler (our loan officer) has gone out of his way to make our dream come true. He helped us overcome obstacles which could have destroyed our dream from becoming a reality. We will never forget him or his team!We tell you all this so you can get an idea from the buyers/our perspective. You all never lost sight of why you are doing this.I am a Vietnam Veteran who has had a difficult trip through life. I never would have dreamed this possible. More importantly, my wife gets the one thing in this life that she has always dreamed of. Thank you for what you have done for us! My VU Team made everything so easy and were there to help whenever I needed them. If I could give them an 11 I would. Highly recommend to whoever is looking into a home purchase.

MY VETERANS UNITED TEAM ROCKS!!!! Wow! Talk about making a scary complicated process EASY!! Everyone from Travis my Loan Officer, Travis my agent, Jill finalizing my loan, Travis the inspector and the rest, I felt like these guys were friends I've known for a while! I normally dont write reviews unless I had a very terrible experience with that person or company, but in this case, I MUST make an exception.....Jeff Ferguson and his team was totally outstanding. From the moment Jeff and I spoke on the phone his professionalism and his character was revealed. Jeff did not talk at me, he talked to me, and that was after he listened to me. He spoke to me as if he and I were neighbors who see each other everyday and have conversations. And even though I qualified for a home loan with Veterans United, Jeff still gave me good advise on continuing to raise my credit score.
Im the type of person who is detailed and 'hands on.' I ask a lot of questions. I want to be involved in 'everything.' I want to know 'everything.' And I want to know everything when I want to know it. Even though the information is not available 'at that time,' I still want to know it 'at that time.' Jeff was super patient and very understanding. Not one time did he make me feel as if I was frustrating him or bothering him.
And then after all of that, his knowledge and detailed explanation of the entire process and the documents was outstanding.
I have to also mention Cole who I also spoke with a lot, and his professionalism and customer service was also amazing.
I honestly cant speak about any of the other Loan Officers at Veterans United, but I can certainly speak about Jeff Ferguson and his team. And they are awesome.
