Veterans United Home Loans, the nation's leading dedicated provider of VA home loans, hires its' 500th employee
Four years after being named one of the nation's 100 fastest-growing private companies by Inc. magazine, Veterans United Home Loans recently hired its 500th employee, the latest milestone in an explosive stretch of growth and productivity.
Veterans United has emerged as the nation's No. 1 dedicated VA lender since its parent company, Mortgage Research Center, landed on Inc.'s annual ranking of the Top 500 fastest-growing companies in 2007. In that time, exponential growth has triggered relentless waves of hiring throughout all corners of the company.
The number of Veterans United employees has skyrocketed 583 percent since May 2007 and 135 percent since last May. And there's no sign of a slowdown. The company continues to add loan officers, underwriters, closers, marketing experts and other crucial team members. Veterans United is also expanding its reach by adding branches across the country. The branch program provides local partners with the tools and stability to remain competitive in an increasingly difficult lending environment.
Despite the significant growth, Veterans United continues to foster a corporate climate and mission focused on serving those who served our country.
"We're committed to helping veterans and active duty military members take advantage of the benefits earned by their service and sacrifice," said CEO Nathan Long. "The incredible growth we've experienced is a byproduct of the trust veterans and military families have placed in us. It's also a sign of our pledge to remain the country's most knowledgeable and passionate team of VA loan experts."
The company has expanded its marketing and outreach efforts on the heels of rapid growth. Veterans United sponsored a NASCAR team this year and recently signed UFC Star and Silver Star recipient Brian Stann as official spokesman. It will soon publish a book on VA loans and has created a series of magazines to distribute to real estate agents and military families.
